Job summary

Dairy Queen franchise in the United States is seeking an experienced shift leader to run a store with attention to detail, supporting the General Manager in daily operations, financial performance, inventory, and team development. This role focuses on delivering high-quality guest experiences and maintaining a clean, safe environment.

You will manage duties during scheduled shifts, train and coach team members, monitor COGS and labor, and ensure food safety practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years of high volume restaurant leadership experience
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Proven track record of effectively managing COGS and labor
• Strong knowledge and application of safe food handling practices
• Must be ServSafe certifiable

Responsibilities

• Manage entire operation of restaurant during scheduled shifts, ensuring quality, service and atmosphere
• Train and coach shift leads and crew on PRIDE systems, recipes and safety practices
• Assist with inventory, ordering, cash control and local store marketing
• Address customer concerns promptly to maintain Fan satisfaction
• Support GM with scheduling, budgeting and labor optimization
• Maintain health, safety and sanitation standards
