Job summary

Dairy Queen is seeking an experienced shift leader to run restaurant operations during scheduled shifts, focusing on quality, service, and atmosphere. You will manage inventory, ordering, cash control, and labor, while maintaining a safe and engaging workplace.

Role requires 1–3 years of leadership in a high-volume setting, HS diploma, and ServSafe certification. Candidates should be adept at coaching, coaching teams, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years of high volume restaurant leadership experience, required. Previous quick service restaurant experience strongly preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven track record of effectively managing COGS and labor.
• Strong knowledge and application of safe food handling practices.
• Must be ServSafe® certifiable

Responsibilities

• Manage entire operation of restaurant during scheduled shifts. Strive for operational levels that meet or exceed the Fan’s expectations in the areas of quality, service and atmosphere, creating value through an excellent experience and a fair price.
• Train and develop shift leads and crew; ensure PRIDE systems and routines are used; maintain a positive and productive store environment.
• Assist in executing the restaurant’s business plan, monitor P&L impacts, inventory, and labor to optimize profits.
• Ensure fan service standards are met, resolve customer concerns promptly, and maintain strong customer relationships.
