Job summary

Dairy Queen offers a leadership role overseeing restaurant operations during scheduled shifts. You will ensure quality, cleanliness, and speedy service while implementing the manager’s business plan and promotional activity.

You will recruit, train and supervise hourly staff, prepare schedules, manage inventory and cash controls, and help optimize labor costs and profitability in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of management in a high volume restaurant preferred.
• DQ experience strongly preferred.
• Must be detail oriented with the capability to oversee restaurant operations and multiple areas.

Responsibilities

• Manage entire operation of the DQ restaurant during scheduled shifts.
• Maintain Dairy Queen standards for product and service quality, cleanliness, sanitation, and speed of service.
• Assist in execution of the restaurant’s business plan and promotions.
• Train, supervise and develop hourly employees; schedule staffing for each day part.
• Control inventory, ordering, cash handling, and labor costs to optimize profits.
• Communicate promotions and oversee staff performance and guest satisfaction.
