Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a winning team on your shift, setting a cheerful tone and coaching teammates in real time. You’ll drive store operations, guest service, and inventory management in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll ensure food safety, proper cash handling, and adherence to policies while developing future leaders and maintaining a team-first culture across all shift activities.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience (retail, restaurant, or food service preferred)
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred)
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environments
• Ability to follow through on tasks and coach others to do the same
• Strong communication and team building skills

Responsibilities

• Lead a Winning Team on Your Shift
• Set the tone with a cheerful, can-do attitude that motivates your team
• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling
• Coach team members in real-time, offering guidance and support during every shift
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary
• Drive Operational Excellence with trained team to meet safety and cleanliness standards
• Ensure inventory, vendor check-in, and promotional communications are executed correctly
• Oversee cash wrap, write-offs, and compliance documentation
