Job summary

Zax LLC is seeking a proactive Shift Leader to oversee the team, product, and processes during a shift. You will supervise tasks, respond to guest concerns, set shift goals, and ensure operational standards, safety, and equipment readiness are met.

You’ll lead by example and coach others to perform at their best. Responsibilities include training, mentoring, delegating duties, maintaining inventory accuracy, and collaborating with management to drive guest satisfaction and consistent service

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Part-time: 9 to 28 hours per week; Full-time: 32 to 40 hours per week.
• Successful completion of background check.
• Demonstrates leadership qualities and organizational skills.
• Follows company standards for employee time punches.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Technological savvy; knowledge of required company software and tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Conflict resolution skills.
• Servant leader mindset.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train and coach team members to meet company standards.
• Mentor, coach, and develop team members; communicate performance concerns.
• Prioritize guest and team member experience; resolve complaints.
• Maintain operational standards and ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Ensure service quality and cleanliness standards.
• Receive and reconcile truck deliveries; daily inventory counts.
• Manage food production and ensure quality; monitor prep and cooking.
• Plan shift duties; open and close tasks.
• Collaborate with management to develop goals; report progress.
• Follow cash management policies.
• Maintain safety guidelines and procedures.
• Report HR and risk management concerns to GM/DM.
• All other duties to ensure operations function properly.
