Job summary

Caribou Coffee in Brookfield, Wisconsin is seeking a Shift Leader to guide store operations in partnership with the GM/AGM. You’ll drive team engagement, guest satisfaction, and adherence to SOP while owning shift outcomes.

The role requires leadership experience, flexibility for early mornings/evenings/weekends, and a driving license. A positive, community-focused attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of leadership, restaurant, retail or customer service experience required, or properly trained and approved by Caribou Coffee to take responsibility as a Shift Leader
• Ability to work at least one of the following: early mornings, evenings, some holidays and/or weekends.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Preferred: High school diploma or GED equivalent
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts that focus on team engagement and guest satisfaction with an unwavering commitment to Make Fun Happen
• Ensure the team executes SOP and quality standards correctly and consistently
• Coach and provide feedback to Team Members to improve performance
• Train team on role responsibilities, product knowledge and promotional items
• Perform administrative tasks such as deposits, inventory, store product orders
• Take ownership for current and following shifts
• Communicate effectively on the floor and delegate tasks
