Job summary

Potbelly Sandwich Shop in Denver is seeking a Shift Leader to guide a busy team, ensure product quality and top-notch service on a fast-paced shift. You will coach associates, manage tasks, and uphold safety and sanitation standards in a lively kitchen and dining area.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with legal eligibility to work in the US.
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail setting preferred.
• Must meet state Food Safety requirements and pass a Food Safety Certification.
• Able to stand 8–9 hours and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle allergens as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead team members on shifts, assigning tasks and providing feedback.
• Ensure security and back-of-house standards are followed.
• Manage cash handling and daily drawers.
• Prepare quality finished products efficiently.
• Maintain health and safety standards and cleanliness.
• Restock food lines and supplies as needed.
• Handle customer complaints promptly and professionally.
