Job summary

Potbelly Sandwich Shop in Richardson, TX is seeking a Part-Time Shift Leader who earns $14.75–$15.25 per hour plus digital tips. You will lead shifts, supervise associates to ensure product quality and service, and manage costs while maintaining a fast-paced, friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• At least 1 year supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail environment preferred.
• Meets all Food Safety requirements within your state and passes Food Safety Certification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer-first mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to stand 8–9 hours and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead team members on shifts, assigning tasks and providing feedback.
• Ensure security procedures are followed.
• Maintain back-of-house procedural standards.
• Count drawers and handle cash following procedures.
• Prepare quality finished products efficiently.
• Comply with health and safety standards for food and cleanliness.
• Restock food line, chips and cooler.
• Clean tables, counters, floors, bathrooms, kitchen and utensils; take out trash.
• Operate cash register and balance cash handling.
• Handle customer complaints/issues effectively.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
