Job summary

Break Time Shift Leaders assist in the management and operations of a Break Time Convenience Store. This role supports store finances, supervises shifts, and completes paperwork to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Ideal candidates are energetic, customer-service oriented, and ready to lead a team during peak periods while promoting food service and safety along with accurate cash handling.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Friendly, customer service-oriented person who enjoys a fast-paced work environment.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance with adequate transportation to/from bank.
• Flexible availability including all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations to make change and complete shift reports.
• Ability to learn new concepts and operate a computer and office productivity machinery.
• Capable of standing for long periods and handling physical requirements of stocked shelves and inventory.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Working with customers — provide excellent customer service and greet each customer.
• Day-to-day store operations — assist with daily reporting, banking, inventory, and upkeep of the store.
• Merchandising and sales — support promotions, pricing, and stock
• Supervising — assist in training and oversee shifts in manager’s absence.
• Communication — maintain professional communication with customers, vendors, and staff.
• Financial Responsibility — understand store finances, manage cash and audits, meet sales goals.
• Teamwork — model professional conduct and assist in hiring and training.
• Working with technology — use POS systems and count product for shift reports.
