Job summary

Break Time Convenience Store is hiring Shift Leaders to support daily operations, supervise shifts, and manage customer service excellence. This role helps with banking, inventory, and food/service programs while fostering a safe and friendly store environment.

The ideal candidate brings 18+ years of age, reliable transportation for deposits, and a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. You’ll work with POS systems and assist in staff training and food safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Friendly, customer service-oriented person who enjoys a fast-paced work environment.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance with reliable transportation for deposits.
• Flexible availability including all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Works well individually and in leading a team.
• Ability to perform math to make change and track shift numbers.

Responsibilities

• Working with customers— provide excellent customer service and greet customers.
• Day-to-day store operations— assist with daily reporting, banking, inventory, and upkeep.
• Merchandising and sales— assist with pricing, promotions, stocking, and clean merchandising.
• Supervising— supervise shifts in the manager's absence and train new employees.
• Communication— maintain professional communication with customers, vendors, and staff.
• Financial Responsibility— understand store finances, audits, and inventory controls.
• Teamwork— maintain professionalism and assist with recruitment and training.
• Working with technology— use POS, computers, and devices to perform tasks.
