Job summary

Break Time Convenience Store is hiring Shift Leaders to assist in management and daily store operations. You will help with finances, supervise shifts, and manage necessary paperwork, working with a friendly, energetic team to provide fast and courteous service.

Ideal candidates are 18+, possess a valid driver's license, and can handle flexible shifts including weekends and holidays. Training and a supportive environment are provided.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Friendly, customer service-oriented person who enjoys a fast-paced work environment.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance with transportation to bank.
• Flexible availability including all shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and shift reports.
• Ability to learn new concepts and operate a computer.
• Pre-employment background check and drug test required.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and staff.
• Assist in daily store operations including banking, inventory, and reporting.
• Support merchandising, pricing, promotions, and stock management.
• Supervise shifts in the absence of the manager and train new staff.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, vendors, and teammates.
• Understand store finances and participate in cash, lottery, and inventory audits.
• Operate store technology and complete shift reports.
