Job summary

Burger King is seeking a Shift Manager to lead daily operations, drive sales and profitability, and coach Team Members across guest service, inventory, and shift execution. The SM will report to the RGM and AM and supervise a team during assigned shifts to ensure fast, friendly service and adherence to brand standards.

The role supports growth through hands-on leadership, performance coaching, and daily execution of shift plans to optimize guest satisfaction and restaurant results.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years of college preferred.
• 1-2 years of previous quick service restaurant experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of guest service principles.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed, for the proper functioning of the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Follows cash control and security procedures.
• Maintains inventory via daily/weekly inspections.
• Receives inventory truck orders.
• Motivates and directs Team Members to exceed guest expectations with fast, friendly service.
• Coaches Team Members to increase restaurant performance.
• Leads shift by implementing plans and driving operational results.
• Directs timely product prep and sales within speed of service guidelines.
• Motivates staff across all workstations during shifts.
• Reviews results to identify successes and improvements.
• Ensures adherence to operational and brand standards.
