Job summary

The Nothing Bundt Cakes (NbC) in Columbus, OH is seeking a Shift Leader to work with the General Manager and team to deliver the highest‑quality cakes, a warm guest experience, and strong store performance.

As a Shift Leader you will lead and coach peers, collaborate with bakery management to drive sales and productivity, and ensure daily operations meet NbC standards. Flexibility for mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary education is a plus.
• 1-3 years of guest-facing experience in a retail, restaurant or food service environment, preferably in a lead role with progressive managerial responsibilities.
• Demonstrated success creating a superior guest experience and coaching others to do the same, training new team members, directing the work of others, and achieving productivity goals.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, with comfort in learning new technologies.

Responsibilities

• The Shift Leader works with the General Manager, Assistant Manager and team to deliver high-quality cakes and a superior guest experience.
• Leads and coaches team members to achieve productivity and sales goals, while upholding NbC standards.
• Collaborates with bakery management to drive daily operations, ensuring brand consistency and profitability.
• Maintains flexibility to work various shifts based on business needs.

The Nothing Bundt Cakes (NbC) Shift Leader works alongside the General Manager, Assistant Manager, and team members to create the highest-quality cakes, a warm, welcoming environment, and superior guest experience. The Shift Leader shares in team leadership and collaborates with the bakery management in driving sales and profitability, executing day-to-day responsibilities and ensuring that all aspects of the bakery operation comply with NbC standards. Education, Certifications and Work Experience Requirements:
