Nothing Bundt Cakes #34 is seeking a Shift Leader to work alongside the Assistant Manager and General Manager to uphold NbC standards, lead the team, and ensure a warm guest experience in our bakery.

The role involves promoting the NbC culture, driving sales, handling day-to-day operations, and coaching staff. Flexibility for varied shifts and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary education is a plus.
• 1–3 years of guest-facing experience in retail/food service.
• Experience in lead roles with progressive managerial responsibilities.
• Ability to coach others and train new team members.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook; comfortable with new tech.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach team members to deliver high-quality cakes and guest experience.
• Collaborate with bakery management to drive sales and profitability.
• Execute day-to-day bakery operations in alignment with NbC standards.
• Promote NbC culture and values among staff and guests.
• Adapt to varied shifts, including mornings/evenings/weekends/holidays.

The Nothing Bundt Cakes (NbC) Shift Leader works alongside the Assistant Manager, General Manager and team members to create the highest-quality cakes, a warm, welcoming environment, and superior guest experience. The Shift Leader shares in team leadership and collaborates with the bakery management in driving sales and profitability, executing day-to-day responsibilities and ensuring that all aspects of the bakery operation comply with NbC standards. And as part of this successful and growing brand, there is no shortage of opportunities for promotion. Education, Certifications and Work Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED; post‑secondary education is a plus.
• 1-3 years of guest‑facing experience in a retail, restaurant or food service environment, preferably in a lead role with progressive managerial responsibilities.
• Demonstrated success creating a superior guest experience and coaching others to do the same, training new team members, directing the work of others, and achieving productivity goals.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, with comfort in learning new technologies.

Must have the flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays, based on changing business demands.
