Job summary

Jersey Mike's Subs is seeking a Shift Leader to support location management at our Jersey Mike’s in the community. You will coach staff, ensure high-quality food, and help deliver the Jersey Mike’s experience with strong customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities include cash handling, sanitation, training, and crew supervision. This role requires leadership, reliability, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year QSR experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older to operate the slicer.
• Serve Safe Certification - Food Handler.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Coach staff to deliver amazing customer service.
• Produce high quality food.
• Deliver the Jersey Mike’s experience.
• Cash handling.
• Follow the Learning Management System Training Program.
• Develop others for career growth.
• Enforcing policies and procedures.
• Participate in local and national marketing initiatives.
• Build sales.
• Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation practices.
• Be certified in all four positions of the restaurant.
• Effective communication.
• Have a sense of urgency.
• Open and close responsibilities for store operations.
• Bake bread and perform prep work.
• Manage and lead crew of 2 to 5 people.
• Proficient in slicing.
