Job summary

IHOP in Salt Lake City is seeking a full-time Crew Chief to lead a high-performing team and ensure exceptional customer experiences. You will assist in preparing staff and resources, assign duties, and promote collaboration. You will supervise training, monitor performance, manage schedules, enforce SOPs, and handle cash deposits.

The role requires clear English communication, basic math, and composure under pressure. Relevant experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Ability to remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and readying personnel, equipment, and supplies to meet business needs.
• Help assign employee duties and promote a collaborative work environment.
• Train new employees and provide refresher training as needed.
• Supervise performance and ensure adherence to policies and high service standards.
• Monitor time cards and adjust schedules to minimize overtime.
• Enforce portion control and maintain security protocols; check deliveries for accuracy and quality.
• Handle cash receipts, reconcile funds, and make daily deposits.
