Job summary

Auntie Anne’s & Cinnabon is seeking a Shift Manager in Daly City to lead daily bakery and pretzel operations, ensuring guest satisfaction and operational excellence. As the heartbeat of the shift, you will manage the team, uphold quality and food safety, and handle opening/closing tasks with cash handling responsibilities.

Ideal candidates bring 3–6 months supervisory experience, strong guest service, and comfort with POS technology.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 3–6 months of first-line supervisory experience preferred.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• TB clearance required (if applicable by location).
• 0–1 year of food service, bakery, or retail experience.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, scoop, and stay active.
• Basic math and computer skills (POS systems).
• Food handler certification (current or obtained within 30 days of hire).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and POS technology.
• General knowledge of food service, bakery, or quick‑service restaurant operations is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team and serve as the go-to leader during your shift.
• Maintain high standards for product quality, service, cleanliness, and food safety.
• Motivate and coach team members to deliver excellent guest experiences.
• Handle challenges confidently—from team needs to guest concerns.
• Support operations for both Auntie Anne's and Cinnabon products and standards.
• Know when to elevate issues to store leadership.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management.
