Job summary

Taco Bell Roeland Park is seeking a proactive Shift Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations and drive 5-star customer service. You will supervise team members, coach for excellence, and ensure standards are met while on duty.

As MIC, you will partner with the AGM/GM to meet brand expectations, balance guest satisfaction with safety and efficiency, and contribute to the restaurant's success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 6 months to 1 year of restaurant experience with proven leadership across all shifts.
• Must maintain a current Health Card according to state or local requirements.
• Basic math and reading proficiency.
• Must be able to read, speak, comprehend, and write in English.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
• Must be able to pass SERVSAFE Certification Course and Exam.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Physical requirements: stand/walk continuously, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform movements including bending and reaching.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Provide 5-star service to all customers and ensure customer satisfaction is a top priority.
• Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and motivate team members to succeed; verify duties are completed timely and appearance standards.
• Team Development: Train and develop individuals for leadership roles with constructive feedback.
• Operations Leadership: Serve as Manager-in-Charge (MIC) and ensure adherence to policies and standards.
• Profit & Loss Management: Assist upper leadership with achieving restaurant financial goals.
• Communication: Keep leadership informed about issues at the restaurant.
