Job description

As a Shift Leader at our Grand Rapids store located at 44 Ionia Avenue SW, Grand Rapids MI 49503, you are the captain of our bakery during your shift! You understand what it takes to "Own the Night" by predicting the flow of business and leading a successful shift. Your hands-on leadership style includes building orders, suggestive selling, baking, and interacting with customers. You will also take pride in knowing that your leadership as an Insomniac contributes to a productive and enjoyable night for your store.

What Will I Do as a Shift Leader?

• Provide exceptional customer service and quality products to all guests
• Support store operations during your shift by maintaining communication, monitoring production efficiency, ensuring team accountability, and assisting in training and coaching team members
• Maintain a safe, clean environment for guests and staff, adhering to safe food handling practices
• Manage cash handling and deposits

Desired Skills and Experience:

• At least 1 year of experience in a customer service role
• Experience with Point of Sale systems
• Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented and results-driven
• Ability to lead by example and motivate others
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older
