Job summary

Sully's Steamers Gainesville is seeking a capable Shift Leader to drive daily restaurant operations under the General Manager. You will oversee service, safety, and quality, while supporting a fast-paced team in delivering hot, delicious bagel-steamed sandwiches.

Lead by example, manage staffing during shifts, and ensure consistent guest satisfaction. Ideal candidates are reliable, customer-focused, and capable of upholding sanitary and service standards in a busy hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be willing to submit to a background check.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply, utility, and labor.
• Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas. As well as maintain a professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards.
• Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances.
• Responsible for ensuring consistent, high-quality food preparation and service.
• Ensure positive guest service in all areas. Respond to complaints, taking appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests.
• Provide direction to employees regarding operational and procedural issues.
• Follow up with employees on assigned tasks and monitor training of employees during shifts.
• Develop employees by providing ongoing feedback and establishing performance expectations.

Job Summary

• Proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant functions: food planning and preparation, security, company policies and procedures, and personnel management.
