Job summary

Sully's Steamers Downtown Greenville is seeking a Shift Leader to guide daily restaurant operations, uphold standards, and coach team members. The Shift Leader reports to the General Manager/AGM and ensures quality service, safety, and efficient flow during shifts.

Qualifications include basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Google Suite), a valid driver's license, US work eligibility, and willingness to undergo a background check.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel, Google Suite).
• Proficient in restaurant operations: food planning and preparation, security, policies and procedures, and personnel management.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Willing to submit to a background check.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply, utility, and labor.
• Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas, maintaining a professional image.
• Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances.
• Responsible for ensuring consistent, high-quality food preparation and service.
• Ensure positive guest service in all areas; respond to complaints and take actions to win back guests.
• Provide direction to employees regarding operational and procedural issues.
• Follow up with employees on tasks and monitor training during shifts.
• Develop employees by providing ongoing feedback and establishing performance expectations.

Job Summary

The Shift Leader is responsible for effectively leading Sully’s Steamers Restaurant according to operational policies and procedures. This position reports to the General Manager/AGM.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply, utility, and labor.
• Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas. As well as maintain a professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards.
• Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances.
• Responsible for ensuring consistent, high-quality food preparation and service.
• Ensure positive guest service in all areas. Respond to complaints, taking appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests.
• Provide direction to employees regarding operational and procedural issues.
• Follow up with employees on assigned tasks and monitor training of employees during shifts.
• Develop employees by providing ongoing feedback and establishing performance expectations.
