Job summary

Raydal Hospitality LLC in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Shift Leader to support the Assistant GM and General Manager, lead daily operations, and uphold FAB standards to ensure consistent dining experiences.

You will open/close shifts, coach team members, maintain safety and sanitation, and help achieve sales goals through great customer service. This role requires reliable transportation, flexibility including weekends/holidays, and a commitment to training and development.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of leadership in a full-service restaurant preferred.
• Serv Safe certification recommended (training provided on hire).
• Computer literacy and basic math skills required.
• Flexible schedule including opens, closes, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Open and close shifts as needed.
• Uphold safety and sanitation standards.
• Check and correct prep for service days.
• Maintain labor per GM schedule or project sales.
• Meet ticket time, food prep, and plating standards.
• Create a healthy working environment for the team.
• Assist in achieving sales goals through upselling and great customer service.

The shift leader supports both the Assistant GM and the General Manager in the restaurant. They lead by example and assist employees with daily routines and tasks while maintaining Raydal Hospitality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for some opening and closing shifts.
• Uphold safety and sanitation standards.
• Check and correct prep for that service/day.
• Maintain labor as per the GM schedule or project sales.
• Manage and assist to meet ticket time standards, food preparation standards and plating standards.
• Create a healthy working environment for our employees.
• Help to achieve sales goals by upselling, table touches and great customer service.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1-year full-service restaurant leadership experience preferred.
• Serv Safe certified recommended (we provide training upon hiring).
• Computer literate and basic Math skills.
• An ability to identify weaknesses and provide coaching where necessary.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation required.
