Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Shift Lead to perform duties of a Client Services Coordinator or Vet Assistant when not filling in or assisting the Practice Manager or Chief of Staff. The role focuses on guiding the team to maximize productivity and profitability while ensuring high-quality care and exceptional client service.

The right candidate will supervise the team, follow Banfield protocols, maintain a positive culture, and ensure effective communication with clients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Two years of veterinary hospital experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willingness to work weekend and evening shifts.
• Ability to work in an environment with loud noises and strong smells.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support hospital leadership to develop an efficient, productive team.
• Supervise day-to-day operations when needed to ensure quality medical care and client service.
• Lead by example to deliver exceptional client and patient experiences.
• Schedule associates to meet client needs and coordinate time off and CE scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with practice policies and dress/grooming guidelines.
• Maintain effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
