Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Shift Lead to support hospital leadership and step in as a Vet Assistant or Client Services Coordinator as needed. The role focuses on delivering excellent client service, supervising the team, and maintaining productivity while upholding Banfield protocols and our culture.

You will collaborate with the Practice Manager and COS to schedule staff, resolve client issues, and ensure compliant operations. Weekend/evening availability is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of veterinary hospital experience.
• Must be available for weekend and evening shifts.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work in an environment with loud noise and strong smells.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties of a Client Services Coordinator or Vet Assistant when needed.
• Supervise team in the absence of management and maintain productivity.
• Schedule associates to meet client needs while planning time off and continuing education.
• Ensure adherence to practice policies and dress/grooming guidelines.
