Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital in the United States seeks a Shift Lead to fulfill the duties of a Client Services Coordinator or Vet Assistant when needed, supporting the Practice Manager and Chief of Staff to guide the team and maximize hospital productivity and profitability.

You will lead by example in delivering high-quality medical care and exceptional client service, coordinating scheduling and ensuring adherence to Banfield protocols while fostering a positive team culture and engaged associates.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a veterinary hospital
• Willingness to work weekends and evenings
• Ability to follow Banfield protocols and support leadership

Responsibilities

• Assist and support hospital leadership to build an efficient, productive team
• Provide professional, efficient client service and education about preventive care and hospital services
• Schedule associates to meet client needs and plan time off and CE scheduling
• Ensure compliance with practice policies, procedures, and dress/grooming guidelines
• Contribute to delivering high-quality veterinary care and a positive client/pet experience
