Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Shift Lead to supervise the team and support the Practice Manager in delivering high-quality veterinary care and outstanding client service. You will help educate clients on wellness plans and hospital services while fostering a productive, engaged team environment.

The role requires at least two years of veterinary hospital experience, ability to work weekends and evenings, and a commitment to Banfield protocols and patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of veterinary hospital experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work weekend and evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day supervision of the team when called upon and ensuring quality medical care, exceptional client service, associate engagement and maximum productivity.
• Assist and support hospital leadership in developing an efficient, productive team.
• Provide professional, efficient and exceptional client service and educate clients about pet health needs and services.
• Schedule associates to meet client needs and plan time off and CE scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with all practice policies and dress guidelines.
