Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospitals is seeking a Shift Lead to provide leadership across shifts and assist as a CSC or veterinary assistant. You’ll guide paraprofessional staff, ensure operational continuity, and support practice leadership to maximize patient care and hospital productivity.

The role requires hands-on clinical duties, client education, and strong teamwork in a fast-paced environment. A positive culture and adherence to Five Principles are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Two years experience in healthcare, veterinary or service-type industry required, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead paraprofessional staff and coordinate workflow across shifts.
• Perform duties of CSC or veterinary assistant/technician as needed.
• Educate clients about services and wellness plans; manage client relationships and documentation.
