Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking a hands-on Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift teams across our travel plazas. You will ensure top-tier customer service, enforce brand standards and food-safety rules, and train new team members.

You’ll monitor cash handling, assist in daily operations, and keep the staff motivated in a fast-paced environment. This role supports flexible schedules, including days, nights, weekends and holidays, with opportunities for growth within

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures.
• Operate POS system and process payments.
• Ensure proper food handling and temperature control.
• Assist in kitchen tasks (prepping, cooking, packaging).
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety, and company policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of issues observed.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
