Job summary

Vitality Bowls Mansfield seeks a dedicated restaurant manager to lead daily operations, coach staff, and ensure top-notch guest experiences. You’ll oversee inventory, scheduling, and compliance with health standards while coordinating with owners on performance and improvement initiatives.

The role emphasizes leadership, customer service excellence, and cost control in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant management experience is required.

Qualifications

• Become Food Manager Certified within 30 days of hire.
• Must be able to operate a basic computer and POS system; handling cash and credit cards.
• Follow health, sanitary, and safety requirements.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, occasionally lift heavy boxes, move quickly and have a sense of urgency.
• Maintain a clean and work-appropriate personal appearance.
• Leadership abilities and management experience a must; restaurant experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, evaluate employees, and manage entire staff.
• Manage inventory and place orders to vendors.
• Send out updates to employees and owners on a regular basis.
• Lead bi-monthly management meetings with shift leaders, assistant managers and owners.
• Create new schedules and manage the break roster.
• Train shift leaders and assistant managers in their duties and communicate performance feedback.
• Establish lines of communication with customers, staff and owners.
• Ensure food is prepared accurately and served timely; maintain customer satisfaction.
• Assist with ringing up guests and taking orders; uphold recipes and sanitary standards.
