Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a capable team member to support store operations, customer service, and accuracy in cashiering. You will open and close the store when management is not present, handle cash drops, returns, and price changes, and ensure the floor and stockroom are ready for the business day.

You will engage customers, resolve questions, and model exceptional service, while assisting with inventory, merchandising, and backroom tasks to maintain a high performing store environment.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, refunds, and handles cash drops and change.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers and patients, resolves issues, and answers questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintains inventory counts, price changes, and signage; supports displays and merchandising.
• Assists with vendor deliveries, order review, and backdoor operations.
