Job summary

Walgreens in Gainesville, FL is seeking a team member to support store operations and deliver exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include opening/closing the store in the absence of management, handling cash and POS duties, inventory counts, displays, and ensuring a clean, compliant store environment.

You will engage customers, resolve questions, assist with refunds, returns and backdoor deliveries, and help supervise and coach teammates as needed.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store, handle cash and system start-ups.
• Process product returns, refunds, cash drops, and provide change.
• Engage customers to deliver a distinctive customer experience.
• Assist with inventory counts, displays, and pricing accuracy.
• Support with vendor deliveries and backdoor access as needed.
• Assist with pharmacy out window and maintain store compliance.
