Job summary

Walgreens in West Windsor, NJ is seeking a store associate responsible for opening and closing the store in the absence of management, handling required cash procedures, and preparing the floor and stock room for the day. This role also supports deliveries, returns, refunds, cash drops, and provides change as needed to cash registers.

You will greet customers, assist with products and services, and help maintain inventory, displays, and pricing while delivering a distinctive customer experience.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Models and shares customer service best practices with team members to deliver a distinctive experience.
• Responsible for holding store keys to open and close without management as necessary.
• Assist with and coaches other team members to work with warehouse and vendor ordering processes.
• Register all related sales on the cash register, including adjustments and voids.
• Assist with displays, pricing changes, and ensuring proper signage.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and stockroom organization.
• Support the Pickup program and basic store systems knowledge.
• Assist at Pharmacy out window where allowed by state regulations.
• Ensure compliance with state/local laws on regulated products and conduct bag checks.
