Job summary

Walgreens in Philadelphia seeks a Store Associate to step in for store management in their absence. You will open and close the store, handle cash, assist customers, and ensure floors and stock rooms are ready for business.

You may open the back door for deliveries and maintain security. You will deliver a friendly customer experience, process returns and refunds, update pricing, and help with inventory and displays.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Knowledge of store inventory control is preferred.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes cash drops to the safe and provides change as requested; handles refunds and voids.
• Delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience to shoppers and patients.
• Maintains accurate inventory counts and assists with pricing tasks and displays.
• Assists with vendor deliveries and backroom operations, including opening back doors for deliveries.
• Supports daily store maintenance, cleanliness, and orderly appearance.
