Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a capable store associate to help open and close the store when management is unavailable, handle cash and system start-ups, and ensure the sales floor and stock room are ready for business.

You will process returns, refunds, and cash drops, and provide change to registers while delivering a friendly, engaging customer experience. You will also assist with deliveries, pricing updates, inventory accuracy, and basic merchandising duties.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• PTCB certification or pharmacy license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of store management, handling all required systems start-ups, cash handling, and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for the business day.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change as requested to cash registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Assist with vendor deliveries and back door openings as needed.
• Register all related sales, including scanning errors, price verifications, items not on file, and price changes.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and pricing signage; support displays and resets.
