Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Store Associate to support opening and closing the store when management is not present, manage cash handling, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for business. You will assist with deliveries and provide friendly, proactive customer service.

Responsibilities include processing returns, refunds, price changes, and keeping accurate inventory and displays. You will engage customers, handle basic operations, and support compliance with store policies and safety

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Preferred knowledge of store inventory control.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state (as applicable).

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including system start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, order voids, refunds, cash drops, and provides change at registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers by greeting and offering assistance with products and services.
• Manages store operations including inventory counts, pricing changes, and displays.
• Ensures compliance with policies, backdoor access for deliveries, and safety procedures.
