Job summary

Walgreens in Lenexa, KS is seeking a dedicated team member to help operate the store in the absence of store management. You will handle opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for the business day, including opening the back door for deliveries.

You will greet customers, resolve questions, assist with product placement, pricing, and basic bookkeeping tasks, while upholding Walgreens service traits and maintaining store cleanliness and compliance

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of management, including systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Process returns, refunds, and cash drops; provide change to cash registers.
• Grow customer experience by greeting customers and resolving questions to ensure satisfaction.
• Assist with vendor deliveries and back door access for deliveries.
• Manage basic store pricing, signage, and shelf placement to ensure accurate pricing.
