Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a dedicated team member to help open and close the store in the absence of management, perform cash handling, and ensure readiness of floor and stock room for the day. You will engage customers, resolve issues, and model excellent service while supporting inventory and pricing tasks.

The role emphasizes delivering a distinctive customer experience, working with warehouse and vendor processes, and maintaining store standards under supervision as needed.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change to cash registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Resolves customer issues to ensure a positive experience and shares best practices with the team.
• Registers all related sales, records scanning errors and price verifications, and handles price modifications.
