Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Store Associate to handle opening/closing duties in the absence of management, manage cash handling, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for business. You will process returns, refunds, and price changes while delivering a friendly customer experience and assisting with vendor deliveries as needed.

The role requires at least one year in leadership or retail key holder positions, fluency in English, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change to cash registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolves issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintains store keys to open/close without management; supports vendor deliveries and backroom operations.
• Registers sales, tracks pricing and scanning accuracy; assists with price changes and compliance with local regulations.
