O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role includes shift management in the absence of supervisors and encourages bilingual candidates.

The position emphasizes leading a team, ensuring excellent service, managing store processes, and maintaining timely operations across transfers, orders, and returns.

• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom including program execution (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot).
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders; contact customers on shipment arrivals as needed.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases using electronic outside purchase order ledger.
• Process returns and exchanges; issue refunds with correct payment methods; stage merchandise in returns area.
• Invoice merchandise including core charges and warranties before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks.
• Ensure adherence to posted work schedule; approvals for deviations; clock in/out per policy.
• Perform opening/closing duties, day end procedures, deposit handling, securing premises, arming/disarming alarms, and securing deliveries.
• All other duties as assigned.
