Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistants in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role may shift to management in the absence of the Store Manager; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

You will lead team members in delivering excellent service to retail and professional customers, ensure phone handling and order processing, and manage returns, exchanges, and merchandising tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• RSS Certification needed or pursued.
• Fluency in multiple languages desirable (Spanish encouraged).
• Retail sales experience preferred, auto parts background beneficial.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and repair helpful.
• ASE Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise showroom customer service levels and execute service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders promptly.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently.
• Process returns and exchanges accurately and issue refunds.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store.
