Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support Store Managers with sales, service, and store operations. The role may assume shift management in their absence and bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include leading staff to deliver excellent customer service, supervising showroom service quality, processing orders and transfers, handling returns and deposits, and ensuring proper merchandising and schedules.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise showroom customer service levels and ensure policy-compliant phone handling.
• Process buy online/ship to store, transfers, and DC add orders; contact customers on arrivals.
• Handle returns and refunds accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store and communicate Zipline messages.
• Ensure staff clock in/out and follow posted work schedules.
• Perform opening/closing duties, money handling, bank deposits, and security checks.
• All other duties as assigned.
