Job summary

BevMo! by Gopuff is seeking a Key Holder to oversee Retail Operations. You will open and close the store, assist during peak periods, and help train new employees while delivering excellent customer service to drive sales.

This role requires leadership in retail, cash handling proficiency, and a team-focused attitude. Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 49 pounds are required. Full-time, on-site position in Santa Rosa, CA.

Qualifications

• 1+ years leadership experience in retail, grocery, military, restaurant or equivalent experience.
• Availability during peak hours, nights, weekends, holidays.
• Basic math skills and proficiency in cash handling.
• Team-oriented mentality.
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting and informing customers about products and services.
• Open and close the store, and assist in the absence of management.
• Support for new employees and onboarding.
• Restock merchandise and assist with inventory counts; identify discrepancies.
• Process cash transactions, open/close tills, count cash and prepare deposits.
• Operate scanners, cash registers, and other electronics.
• Enforce age verification policies and provide receipts.
• Prevent theft; monitor sales floor and maintain store cleanliness.
• Train new employees on procedures, product knowledge, and standards.
