Job summary

Spotless Brands LLC is seeking a Shift Lead at its Morgantown car wash location. The role supports the Site Manager, ensuring smooth daily operations, safety, and customer service during assigned shifts.

The ideal candidate will assist with opening/closing procedures, coach team members, handle customer inquiries, and uphold cleanliness and equipment standards while prioritizing a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, not required.
• Prior leadership experience in a customer-facing or operational environment (retail, car wash) preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years of age (or older where required by law or safety regulations).
• Valid driver’s license preferred (may be required depending on location and responsibilities).
• Must meet all required certification and regulatory compliance standards applicable to the role as defined by federal, state, and local laws.
• Must be able to successfully pass a background check in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Supports site leadership by executing assigned operational tasks; does not participate in managerial decision-making or formal leadership duties.
• Provide direction to team members during shifts as delegated by site management, ensuring adherence to established procedures and standards.
• Escalate all staffing, customer service, or operational issues requiring judgement or discretion to the Site Manager or Assistant Manager.
• Greet and engage customers with professionalism and enthusiasm, promoting membership programs and special promotions.
• Demonstrate and maintain in-depth knowledge of car wash packages, pricing, promotions, and processes.
• Safely operate and train others on the use of car wash equipment and chemicals.
• Monitor and guide vehicle entry and exit procedures to ensure safe, damage-free customer experiences.
• Delegate team members to appropriate workstations and monitor for efficiency and quality output.
