Job summary

Spotless Brands LLC is seeking a Shift Lead to support daily car wash operations and assist the Site Manager. This role offers hands-on operational experience while developing foundational leadership skills.

You will ensure adherence to procedures, safety, and customer service standards during assigned shifts, without formal management authority. The position emphasizes execution, team support, and operational oversight, including opening/closing tasks and handling customer interactions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, not required.
• Previous leadership experience in a customer-facing or operational environment (retail, car wash) preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years of age (or older where required by law or safety regulations).
• Valid driver’s license preferred (may be required depending on location and responsibilities).
• Must meet all required certification and regulatory compliance standards applicable to the role as defined by federal, state, and local laws.
• Must be able to successfully pass a background check in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Execute assigned operational tasks and support site leadership.
• Provide direction to team members during shifts as delegated by site management.
• Escalate staffing, customer service, or operational issues to Site Manager or Assistant Manager.
• Greet and engage customers, promote membership programs and promotions.
• Demonstrate knowledge of car wash packages, pricing, and processes.
• Safely operate and train others on car wash equipment and chemicals.
• Monitor vehicle entry/exit procedures for safe experiences.
• Delegate tasks to team members and monitor efficiency and quality.
• Assist in cleanliness and upkeep of facility, including restrooms and outdoor areas.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance to ensure a safe environment.
• Support opening/closing procedures; financial handling and site security under supervision.
• Serve as a keyholder and assist with secure site procedures.
• Address customer issues or elevate concerns to management.
• Model adherence to policies, safety procedures, and standards.
• Perform other duties to support site operations.
