Bareburger, a NYC-based burger concept, is seeking a Shift Lead to ensure top guest service and smooth daily operations. You will help manage shifts, staff, and cash handling while upholding Bareburger standards and hospitality.

This role requires hands-on leadership in a busy environment and a focus on guest satisfaction. Applicants should have 2+ years of supervisory restaurant experience, strong interpersonal skills, and familiarity with POS systems and delivery platforms.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory restaurant experience.
• Exceptional guest service skills.
• Polite, enthusiastic, high energy and hospitable.
• Strong leadership and future leader development ability.
• Experience managing fast-paced restaurant/retail teams.
• Knowledge of POS, Microsoft Office and delivery platforms.
• Commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the highest level of guest service.
• Establish daily register funding and close out cash.
• Adhere to Bareburger operating standards.
• Supervise staff presence and scheduling; address conflicts.
• Maintain clean, stocked workplace and restroom areas.
• Address customer concerns and policy-compliant resolutions.
• Approve customer discounts, returns and exchanges.
• Train new employees on policies and procedures.
