Job summary

Madison Reed is seeking a Shift Lead, Licensed Cosmetologist, to guide guest experiences from arrival to departure, supervise appointment scheduling, and ensure service quality with the team. As a keyholder, you may serve as manager-on-duty and help develop leadership and business acumen while promoting MR products and services.

The role is full time with weekend and peak-time availability. Compensation includes base pay, commissions, and tips, ranging $36-$38 per hour depending on performance.

Qualifications

• Active cosmetology license in the state you are applying.
• 1+ year of experience as a colorist behind the chair in a salon.
• 1+ year of leadership experience in a customer-facing environment.
• Strong communication and people skills in a fast-paced retail or salon environment.
• Comfortable operating point of sale systems.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to provide a top tier guest experience.
• Drive sales through retail and service interactions with guests.
• Support front of house and back of house operations as needed.
• Provide consultations and all services offered on the menu.
• Coach and develop team members to foster positive culture.
