Madison Reed seeks a Shift Lead, Licensed Cosmetologist to guide a Hair Color Bar team, ensuring outstanding guest experiences from arrival through departure. You will manage appointments, mentor staff, and uphold brand standards while supporting the manager on duty during peak times.

Role includes leading service consultations, mastering MR systems, and driving sales targets. Requires active cosmetology license and prior leadership in a salon or retail setting. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Active cosmetology license in the state where applying.
• 1+ year of experience as a colorist behind the chair in a salon.
• 1+ year of leadership experience in a customer-facing environment.
• Effective communication and people skills in a fast-paced retail/salon setting.
• Comfortable operating point of sale systems.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop leadership skills to provide top-tier guest experience.
• Lead by example through sales and service behaviors with guests.
• Support front-of-house and back-of-house operations and guest assistance.
• Provide consultations and all services on the menu, including chemical services.
• Step in as manager-on-duty to foster a positive team culture.
• Contribute to monthly sales goals and KPIs like retail and services.
