Madison Reed Hair Color Bar in California is seeking a Shift Lead, Licensed Cosmetologist to ensure an exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure and manage appointment flow with the team.

As a keyholder, you will act as manager-on-duty during absences, drive sales and service delivery, and mentor staff while supporting manager initiatives and MR product education. Compensation includes base pay, commissions, and tips, with earnings for this location estimated at $45–$47 per hour.

Qualifications

• Active cosmetology license in the applying state.
• 1+ year as a colorist behind the chair in a salon environment.
• 1+ year of leadership experience in a customer-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate leadership to provide a top-tier employee and guest experience in line with company values.
• Lead by example in sales and service behaviors, resolving guest issues.
• Support front of house and back-of-house operations and assist guests with retail orders.
