Corning Incorporated in North Carolina is seeking a Supervisory Leader for cable and warehouse operations. This role oversees 30-70 hourly associates and 4-6 operations coordinators, with shift flexibility per business needs.

You will drive safety, production scheduling, training, and Lean improvement initiatives within ISO standards. The position belongs to the TCP Leadership team and offers growth into facilities, engineering, or division roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree with 1+ years manufacturing experience or 3+ years manufacturing experience.
• Demonstrated initiative, direction, and collaboration.
• Root cause analysis and problem resolution in fast-paced environment.
• Computer skills (Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible for safe work practices and safe environment.
• Develop and implement production area/warehouse activities to meet goals.
• Train and coach employees; create a challenging, meaningful work environment.
• Encourage open communication and employee involvement.
• Prioritize production schedules based on induction, equipment, and materials.
• Adjust staffing and machine assignments for optimal flow.
• Develop training plans for operators and support personnel.
• Maintain world-class housekeeping and product flow standards.
• Manage time and attendance for payroll processing.
• Lead teams to achieve quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Lead lean projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Implement procedures to meet ISO standards.
• Identify bottlenecks and optimize resources.
• Investigate corrective actions and drive improvements.
