Job summary

Southwire Company in North Carolina seeks a Supervisor, Operations to coordinate daily production activities and lead a skilled team on the plant floor. You will set priorities, assign tasks, and ensure safety and quality standards while aligning with company goals.

You will develop and implement operational best practices, monitor performance, mentor staff, and collaborate across departments to drive continuous improvement and resource optimization in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education Level: High School Diploma.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing and wire and cable is preferred.
• Strong leadership and team supervision skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Administers daily operations by overseeing team activities, ensuring adherence to schedules, and maintaining productivity standards.
• Advises team members on procedures, safety protocols, and performance expectations to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Assists the manager in developing and implementing operational strategies and objectives.
• Coaches less experienced staff by providing training, mentorship, and performance feedback.
• Coordinates processes and assignments among team members and other departments to optimize workflow.
